While the debate over voter fraud continues, and the leftists deny that it happens, a new book exposes various examples, including that Al Franken won a Senate Seat from Minnesota, and that over 1000 convicted felons voted, all fraudulently. The Examiner has more…
Franken and his Democratic allies dispatched an army of lawyers to challenge the results. After the first canvass, Coleman’s lead was down to 206 votes. That was followed by months of wrangling and litigation. In the end, Franken was declared the winner by 312 votes. He was sworn into office in July 2009, eight months after the election.
During the controversy a conservative group called Minnesota Majority began to look into claims of voter fraud. Comparing criminal records with voting rolls, the group identified 1,099 felons — all ineligible to vote — who had voted in the Franken-Coleman race.
Minnesota Majority took the information to prosecutors across the state, many of whom showed no interest in pursuing it. But Minnesota law requires authorities to investigate such leads. And so far, Fund and von Spakovsky report, 177 people have been convicted — not just accused, but convicted — of voting fraudulently in the Senate race. Another 66 are awaiting trial. “The numbers aren’t greater,” the authors say, “because the standard for convicting someone of voter fraud in Minnesota is that they must have been both ineligible, and ‘knowingly’ voted unlawfully.” The accused can get off by claiming not to have known they did anything wrong.
This has been covered extensively before. There seems to be a coordinated effort to commit voter fraud. Here is the process…
1. Liberal groups, like the organizations formerly known as ACORN, sign up tens of thousands of false voters, making it difficult for election workers to sift through the fraudulent and the real voters.
2. AG Holder has stated that he will not enforce the part of the Motor Voter law that demands that states purge their roles of ineligible and dead voters. In fact, the Department of Injustice has gone out of it’s way to threaten states that purge their own rolls.
3. Then, we have the Soros funded, Secretary of State project. At the state level, the Secretary of State certifies elections, and once certified, they cannot be undone. So, if there are a ton of fishy ballots, and the bad guy is winning, they regressive secretary of state can quickly certify the results before things get too factual.
So, if you have groups overwhelming the system with fake voter registrations, resistance to purging the rolls of ineligible voters, and a secretary of state that will quickly certify a fishy election, you have the recipe for Democrat victory.
And that, my friends, is why the Democrats deny that voter fraud occurs, and why they resist any efforts to secure elections. After all, how else can they win close races?
